Annual meeting to be held February 16

The annual meeting of the DLPOA is scheduled for Thursday, February 16. The meeting will be held at the Moose Lodge, 7371 Marine Rd. The doors will open at 6:30, snacks will be served and a cash bar will be open. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m.

In addition to committee reports, nominations will be taken for Board seats. The terms of five current board members are expiring: Larry Ahrens, Roy Wehling, Mark Hicks, Craig Louer and Jennifer Russi. Larry, Roy, Mark and Craig are all running for re-election. Jenny has decided to retire from the Board. She chaired the Safety Committee and managed the water quality testing so Jenny will be missed.

The Board is made up of 15 members that serve 3-year, staggered terms. If you are interested in serving on the Board, send an e-mail to Board President Al Ortbals at aortbals@ibjonline.com. Al will be making a report to the Board at the January 30 meeting. Or, you can nominate yourself or others at the annual meeting.

Officers and committee chairs will be elected at the March 26 Board meeting.
