The police have taken custody of a 12′ green jon boat with a 6 hp Mercury motor and a trolling motor that broke lose in the recent storm and submerged near 709 East Lake.
The sticker on the boat was registered to someone who moved off the lake many years ago and did not know the current owner. The motors were fairly new.
Please share this with friends who might be traveling or not out on the lake much. The owner needs to call James at the Edwardsville Police Department 656-2131.
