This summer brush was cut from the back side of the earthen dam and an additional 4 feet of riprap was added to the front. A large metal grate and ladder was added to the drainage silo to replace the loose boards that dam committee chairman Mike Watts has had to use as a platform when lowering the lake in emergency situations.
The 2015 inspection of the dam was conducted by Hurst-Rosche Engineering in August. Clearing vegetation around the spillway chute was recommended as a minor improvement to be done in the next year.
