The Board of Directors of the Dunlap Lake Property Owners Association met Monday, Sept. 28, 2015 at 840 East Lake Drive. Highlights not already included in this newsletter:
  • Grass carp are being ordered along with stripers and channel catfish for this fall’s fish stock
  • Phosphates from lawn chemical are a problem for both the fish and the plant life in the lake. Fish and Wildlife chair Walt Heck asked people to reconsider their use of lawn chemicals.
  • City and Village sent letters to property owners not paying assessments last month. They have prepared liens to file against any property
  • Michael Watts, dam maintenance chair, will be overseeing the sealing of some cracks and any other concrete work needed on the spillway before winter.
  • 7 building permits were submitted in Sept.
