Kid’s Fishing Derby

Fishing starts at 8 am

You must register before starting to fish

Pre-registration encouraged

Weigh-in at 11 am, followed by lunch

Prizes will be awarded by 11:30 am at the activity lot by the underwater bridge

Across from 113 West Lake if you drive

All residents and guests who participate with a resident are welcome

Hot dogs, Brats, chips and cookies will be served

1 TO 6 YEARS – PANFISH DIVISION
7 TO 12 YEARS – GAMEFISH DIVISION
13 TO 18 YEARS – LUNKER DIVISION

FISHING DERBY RULES

(1 to 6 YEARS) PANFISH DIVISION: TOTAL WEIGHT OF 15 FISH (CRAPPIE, BLUEGILL, GREEN SUNFISH, SIMILAR PANFISH AND UP TO 3 LARGEMOUTH BASS, CATFISH, OR STRIPED BASS)

(7 TO 12 YEARS) GAMEFISH DIVISION: TOTAL WEIGHT OF 15 FISH (CRAPPIE, BLUEGILL, GREEN SUNFISH, SIMILAR PANFISH AND UP TO 3 LARGEMOUTH BASS, CATFISH, OR STRIPED BASS)

(13 TO 18 YEARS) LUNKER DIVISION: TOTAL WEIGHT OF 6 FISH (LARGEMOUTH BASS, CATFISH, OR STRIPED BASS)

***ALL BASS & CATFISH MUST BE AT LEAST 14 INCHES IN LENGTH*** ***Muskies must be immediately released in all divisions***

All fish must be caught in Dunlap Lake between 8 and 11 am on this day

ALL FISH MUST BE CAUGHT BY PARTICIPANTS
Panfish division may get assistance from an adult but child must reel in the fish

Catch and Release recommended after weigh-in
