A special meeting of the board of DLPOA was held at 7 p.m. Wed. June 21, 2023. It was proposed that some of the funds previously allocated for docks and silt removal at the north end of East Lake be reallocated to replace docks at Commons Area W1. Anticipated expenses and are noted in the chart above.
A motion was made to hold the funds so they could be reallocated for future silt removal. Ten of the 13 board members present voted against the motion. (The president does not vote unless there is a tie)
A motion was made to redistribute a portion of funds previously allocated go to Common Area W1 with the cost of the project not to exceed $50,000. Ten of the 13 board members present voted in favor of the motion.
