At the March meeting the Board of Directors approved the budget of $176,000 presented to the members at the annual meeting. They voted to retain the same slate of officers and committee chairs were selected. More committee volunteers are needed.

It was announced that the Association closed on the property at 840 East Lake Drive on March 27. A geotechnical engineering study of the soil will start immediately.

Priorities for repairs on the commons areas were discussed. Finding more dock space, taking down dead trees and cleaning up the sites are the priority. Some possibilities for better signage than the current yard signs and agenda boxes were discussed.

The legal committee reported the Association’s attorney has written a letter to 2 owners owing a total of over $13,500 in back assessments and it was reported that two permits were issued in March. One was for a shed and one for new construction on Lotus to replacing the house that was demolished this fall.
